Dr. Hewitt
Dr. Hewitt was born and raised in St. Charles, MO. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in biochemistry. She then received her DDS from the UMKC School of Dentistry before completing her orthodontic residency with the UMKC Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Hewitt received numerous honors during her time at UMKC, including the Top Scholar Award, Colgate Research Award, Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, and Quintessence Award for Research Achievement.
Dr. Hewitt has been in private practice as an orthodontist since 2017. In order to maintain a standard of professional excellence, she is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Missouri Dental Association as well as the Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She is recognized as an orthodontic specialist by the state of Missouri, and frequently participates in continuing education to stay up to date on the latest information and treatments. In her spare time, Dr. Hewitt enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Nathan, and their two sons.
Christian
Christian is the first smiling face you’ll see when you walk through our doors at Hewitt Orthodontics! A proud graduate of Troy Buchanan High School (Class of 2011), she still calls Troy home, where she lives with her husband, Adam, and their sweet son, Hampton. When she’s not at the office, Christian is all about family time—whether it’s a cozy movie night, diving into a good book, or getting a little too competitive during game night. She’s known for her infectious laugh, love of a good Netflix binge, and making everyone feel right at home. She can’t wait to welcome you and your family when you arrive at Hewitt Orthodontics!
Jessie
Jessie has been an orthodontic assistant for over 20 years, and we are happy to have her on the Hewitt Orthodontics team! In her free time, she enjoys binging Netflix with her husband and on the weekends you can catch her at a Mizzou game with her 2 boys! Go Tigers! She’s excited to meet our patients and help them reach their smile goals.
